Job Title: Plant OperatorOverview: Working with Plant Supervisor on all aspects of Production.Safety Expectations: The consultant is required to comply with all safety rules and to observe safe work practices and operating procedures at all times. Whenever on Suit-Kote property or job sites, or operating Suit- Kote equipment, consultants and others.Responsibilities/Job Duties:•Load and Unload liquid materials into tankers and bulk storage tanks•Follow all safety and Environmental policies •Operating the truck scale system for loading and returning materials•Work with dispatch and direct supervisor on inbound and outbound loads•Various testing/reporting on incoming and stored liquid materials •Keep workplace clean and organized•Operate forklift and other equipment when needed•Run errands and pick up supplies when needed•Ability to follow written and or verbal direction •Record and report inventories, and inspections daily.•Operating and maintaining hot oil heater, valves, pumps, hand/power tools •Painting, sweeping, shoveling •Working various hours, overtime and on weekends when needed•Work from heights and in confined spaces (cleaning out bulk storage tanks)Requirements:••OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certificate••Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required and a background check will be conducted••High school diploma or GED is preferred••Reliable transportation to and from work site••Must be able to lift 50 pounds, read a tape measure and be good in basic math••Strong work ethic, self-starter and the willingness to help out the team••Must have a clean motor-vehicle recordAdditional Duties: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed.
