Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineering candidate for a commercial space client in Webster, TX. This person will acts as a team lead of the avionics team that is designing, building, and testing printed circuit boards that will power the entire space station. This individual needs to have experience designing and building printed circuit boards from scratch. In addition, this person and their team will work closely with the software engineering team to ensure that the electrical components of the space station receive power and operate seamlessly with the software written to power all of the hardware, i.e. propulsion equipment, life support, ground control, robotics, sensor measurement, flight computers, etc. This person will be working in-person, Monday-Friday at the Webster, TX location.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field

Experience in electronic design, build, and test

Prior experience designing commercial electronics (electronics that were sold, not research or simulation products)

Prior experience developing schematic and printed circuit board designs

Ability to design and analyze complete digital and analog electronic systems Leadership experience on electronic design projects

Experience in aerospace industry null
