Aston Carter Payroll Manager in Nanuet, New York

Our client is a large construction organization that is seeking a Payroll Manager to join their team in Nanuet, NY!

• Responsible for the training and development of the payroll team.

• Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures and ensure compliance with labor laws, government agencies, and union entities.

• Routine maintenance of ERP to updates to federal, state, and local taxes, employee files, and worker compensation rates, union fringe benefit, etc.

• Responsible for maintaining a repository of current collective bargaining agreements and rates with union locals.

• Responsible for weekly payroll tax payments and assist with preparation of quarterly payroll tax returns.

• Responsible for garnishment remittances and monthly union benefit reporting.

• Ensures compliance with OCIP, certified payroll, and unemployment reporting.

• Oversees year-end W-2 processing.
