This position performs a variety of technical duties related to the operation, maintenance and repair at Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Shift - After six months, four ten-hour days.

Duties will include:

·         Monitoring, evaluation and maintaining:

·         Facility equipment controls and operational processes.

·         Remote pump station operations.

·         Membrane filtering process and screening equipment.

·         Bio-solids dewatering operations.

·         Chemical treatments.

·         Biological processes and disinfection systems.

Treatment Plant Operator Requirements:

·         A Utah Wastewater Treatment Systems Operator Certification from the state of Utah or must be obtained within twenty-four months of hire and maintained thereafter.

·         Experience is preferred but not required for an entry-level (Operator I) position.

·         Requires a valid Utah driver's license

·         A willingness to work shift work and be on-call.

·         U.S. work authorization.

·         High school diploma or GED.

·         Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
