We are looking for our future PMO Manager for EEMEA region. As part of the Business Enablement Solutions team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing project management activities related to business process improvement initiatives, new IT solutions and other projects that are important for our business to build organizational capability.

You will also ensure efficient and effective project execution, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of projects within budget. The primary focus will be on managing cross-functional teams, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment between stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with local and regional key stakeholders to develop and define project scope aligned with the Business Enablement Solutions Team.

  • Connect with other PMO`s globally and share best practices through our Project Management community.

  • May manage all levels of project managers and influences talent strategy in the department. Regularly coaches team members and peers to elevate team performance.

  • Leads programs. Advises other Project Management roles on major programs. Drive project and program cost efficiencies. Make portfolio spend decisions. Has a deep understanding of how to apply quality system(s).

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and control of multiple projects. Develop project plans, define project scope, set goals, and establish timelines. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

  • Team Management: Build and lead cross-functional project teams consisting of various key stakeholders and contributors. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Conduct regular team meetings to track progress and address any issues or concerns.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior management. Facilitate effective communication and ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Provide regular updates and reports on project status, risks, and milestones.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify areas for optimization, implement best practices and develop standardized project management templates and tools.

  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize their impact on project outcomes. Escalate critical issues to senior management as necessary.

  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and quality management systems applicable to medical technical devices. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement and maintain robust quality control processes.

  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, including resource allocation and cost control. Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure optimal utilization of resources and adherence to financial targets.

  • Abide by and support the policies set forth in the Stryker Code of Conduct

  • Conduct work in compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations and in accordance with Stryker's high ethical standards.

What you need:

  • Master or University Degree required

  • Lean Certifcation required & PMP certification preferred

  • 5+ years experience as PMO using Lean six sigma methodologies

  • Previous experience establishing a PMO function in a complex business environment and with cross-collaborational functions

  • Demonstration of strong leadership and influencing skills

  • Analytical and problem solving skills and ability to implement change

  • Medical/Healthcare Company experience preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Good understanding of business growth and sales strategies according to healthcare markets

  • Strong project management, coordination and organizational skills
